Applied criticism tests the responsibilities described in the philosophical work against particular artworks, spaces, materials, and histories. This programme attends to absence, grief, displacement, material fatigue, and the persistence of a work's consequences without allowing a subject's seriousness to stand in for close attention.

The programme continues to test critical responsibility against named works, spaces, materials, and histories. Readers can assess the descriptions and judgments in the published studies; the research continues.
Preparations for a small comparative study concern a curatorial framing decision, alternative texts, documentation and comparative reading. This is preparatory research, not completed findings or a published output. No case or participant activity is announced here. Public attribution will be added only after it is agreed.

The relation between observation, interpretation, and critical consequence should remain visible. A work, an artist's stated intention, a viewer's experience, and a critic's account each require their own evidence. The published records allow the framework to be assessed through the descriptions and judgments it actually produces.
The early framework’s concern with witnessing is examined through published encounters with named artworks, materials, spaces, and histories. Essay collections and longer studies preserve the resulting descriptions and arguments.
The relation between observation, interpretation, and critical consequence remains open to scrutiny. The curatorial micro-study is preparatory; it has no completed findings in the public record.
