About the participants

Dong-Yeon Koh is an art historian, critic, and curator whose work examines the Cold War, consumer culture, gender, and memory in postwar Korean art. Her books include The Korean War and Post-memory Generation: The Arts and Films in South Korea (Routledge, 2021) and, with Jung-Sil Lee, Modern and Contemporary Korean Art in Context (1950–Now) (Bloomsbury, 2025). Her official biography identifies her as an adjunct professor at Ewha Womans University and records her ongoing book project with Dorian Vale, Between Image and Interpretation: On Restraint. Her Books page and CV provide further publication and career records.

Dorian Vale is Tarique’s publishing name. Vale develops Post-Interpretive Criticism and handles research and publishing for Museum of One.
